Update 7th. July

Dear Parents

I hope you and your families continue to be well. I am writing today to give you advance information about the end of this term, and arrangements for the return to school after the summer holidays.

As we have been unable to have any of our usual transfer meetings regarding new students and staff groups, school will be closed to pupils next Friday, 17th. of July. This is to enable all staff to come in and work together in their class groups and get rooms ready for next term. We will also be sharing with them the plans we have to keep school safe when everyone is back after the holidays. Staff will also be planning lessons and activities for September that will help students settle back into school when they return.

We are meeting later this week to work out the measures we will have to put into place for September, and also meeting with the school nurses to discuss what is needed for them to provide nursing service to students. I will send you details and share what we are planning to do on Monday. I would be pleased to discuss any comments or issues you may have regarding the measures we will are planning to take.

In September we are having two training days on the Tuesday and Wednesday and we are working hard to enable all students to return to school on Thursday 3rd. September.

Take care and keep safe
