Art at Wilson Stuart provides students with opportunities to explore and investigate a range of different media and processes. Students are encouraged to take part in a range of different art processes including drawing, painting, printing, collage, textiles and sculpture.
Whilst developing confidence in these techniques, artists and cultural influences are introduced to broaden knowledge and understanding. Students have worked on collaborative art pieces that are often displayed within school.
Within the art subject, students continue to apply CIRCLE (Communication, independence, Resilience, Confidence, Leadership,Esteem) to enhance their personal development and support their journey into adulthood.
Throughout art lessons, are is encouraged as a form of well being that can be linked to our feelings and an expression of joy and celebration.
