Geography is an exciting subject with pupils learning about issues affecting people in the UK, Europe and all over the world. Pupil experiences are also enhanced and great learning takes place during many projects based in the school grounds or through many field visits to local areas and beyond such as parks, shopping centres, animal sanctuaries, zoo’s and beautiful places like Carding Mill Valley in the Long Mynd to study rivers and Dovedale in the Peak District to study the management of tourists in a National Park.

At KS3 the pupils follow the National Curriculum for Geography.

At KS4 pupils follow the AQA GCSE Geography 8035 syllabus and the WJEC Entry Pathways Humanities syllabus at Entry Level 2 and Entry Level 3.
