Young Voices 2018, Genting Arena NEC

Wilson Stuart attended the Young Voices Concert on Thursday 11th January and as usual we got lots of attention from the conductor, David Lawrence.

To assist with the Young Voices’ mission to provide a musical experience for children that will inspire a love of music and that they will remember for the rest of their lives – special guest artists are invited to take part in the concerts. This year’s artists were:

Natalie Williams – a popular soul/jazz artist, singer songwriter. She has 7 critically acclaimed albums under her belt and a dedicated following that extends throughout the world.

The M4GNETS – a vocal harmony group featuring the finest vocal and beatboxing talent that the British acappella scene and London’s West End have to offer.

Alfie Sheard – not your usual artist as he is only 16, specialising in acoustic guitar and providing incredible inspiration.

Of course the pupils really get excited to see the Urban Strides Dancers and here you can see that Rhys is chatting to the Creative Designer, Andy Stone, and Alfie is talking to one of the dancers.

Everyone is a close team at Young Voices and we appreciate the care and attention we receive each year. Both staff and pupils enjoyed a fabulous night!
