Wilson Stuart School and Sports College is an all age school for children aged two to nineteen years, who have a physical disability or a complex medical condition.

Many pupils have additional disabilities including communication difficulties, learning difficulties and sensory impairments.  Our last 4 OFSTED inspections have all resulted in an 'Outstanding' report the latest taking place in April 2010. We are very proud of our achievements and strive daily to maintain our excellent standards.

In 2005 we became a Specialist Sports College. This means that we provide exceptional opportunities in PE and Sport for all our pupils regardless of their physical limitations. We consider ourselves to be at the forefront of disability sport development.

In 2010 we were recognised as a High Performing Specialist School and have added a second specialism of Applied Learning or Learning for Life. This has enabled us to develop vocational elements throughout our curriculum.

In 2008 we established a partnership with the Premier League and Aston Villa to develop a three year 6th form program called Villa Vocations. This has been designed in order to enable our students to make the most of their opportunities upon leaving school.
