4.2 Go Fishing at The Albrighton Trust

The Albrighton Trust, Moat and Gardens offers educational and recreational activities for people disadvantaged by disability, special needs or illness, who are welcomed and supported whatever their capability. All activities are either inspired by or involve the outdoor environment and the first class facilities are specifically designed to ensure everyone, regardless of disability or capability can experience the joy and satisfaction of engaging in positive, outdoor activity.

4.2 enjoyed the most fabulous of days in which they had 2 x 1 hours of fishing on a gloriously, sunny day and fish were being caught within minutes of starting.

We were shown how to put the maggots onto the hook, and some of us were able to do this with just a little help and all the fish were safely put back into the water.

Of course, the beautiful weather helped greatly but the facilities and support available was exceptional, and although we did not have time on the day, there are other activities on offer. I would urge you all to investigate some of their holiday activities in case it might be of interest and the Web address is http://www.albrightontrust.org.uk

Everybody caught fish and some were quite an impressive size, but our star of the day was Vladislavs.
