3.4 attended this wonderful concert which was specially produced to cater for students with special needs – it being quite interactive with musicians moving around closer to the audience and just lasting under 1 hour.
The theme was “Peter Pan” and we could clearly see the different characters from the story, including a “Tinkerbell” in lights.
All of 3.4 demonstrated excellent audience skills – sitting quietly when the music was playing, clapping at the end of each short piece of music, joining in with sound effects, engaging with the musicians as they came nearer to us and looking at/listening to the instruments. Zain even thought he’d try to be the conductor!
We all enjoyed this concert and we are presently trying to create our own musical version of the “Peter Pan” story in our music lessons.
